Worting House has been through a lot of change since it was built way back in the 18th century. Switching hands between notable owners and seeing extensions, renovations, and improvements – it’s always been a building in flux.
We’re now proud to announce the latest developments, making Worting House a better place to work than ever before while retaining all of the historical features that make it so unique. This is your guide to what’s new.
We’ve designed a brand new coworking space, The Lodge, which is perfect for flexible workers. It has a comfortable, open-plan area containing shared workspaces and dedicated desks where you can pop in and get to work whenever you need to, and private quiet rooms if needed. Access is available through flexible membership options – from day passes for ad hoc use to monthly subscriptions for regulars – and we’re offering a day’s free access to new visitors in January.
The office space on offer at Worting House has always had a degree of flexibility, but we’ve overhauled our model to make sure we truly have something for everyone. Depending on your needs, you can choose to use a hot desk, a dedicated desk for one, a private office for the day, or a serviced office with no minimum term. If your needs change, we can scale your space up or down.
Easy-access meeting rooms
Our meeting rooms have also been completely redesigned and refitted to bring them into the present, with newly installed AV equipment and HD video conferencing facilities. They’re available to be booked for team meetings, training sessions, board meetings, and more. With the launch of our new website, you’ll even be able to book meeting room use online, 24/7.
Better break out areas
All work and no play doesn’t make for a happy work life balance. With that in mind, we’ve redesigned the break out areas at Worting House to make them more fit for purpose. You can use these casual areas for chats with colleagues, informal client meetings, or just to get away from your desk for a while and relax.
Modern interior design
Over the next few months, we’ll be rolling out a full redesign of the reception area, coffee lounge, and other internal spaces. The refitted interiors will make Worting House a more comfortable, inspiring, and sophisticated setting that you’ll be proud to work in and even prouder to show off to your clients.
It’s only fitting that a new iteration of Worting House comes with a change in how we present ourselves. We’ve rolled out shiny new branding that mirrors the essence of the material changes we’ve made. Our logo, typeface, and colours have all been modernised, giving the Worting House brand a new lease of life.
On-site wellness suite
We have an on-site wellness suite containing therapy and consultation rooms – ideal for independent professionals and consultants to meet and treat their clients in peaceful surroundings. These are available for hire by the hour or for longer periods of time, and you can contact us to book a viewing of available spaces before choosing one.
More Of The Good Stuff
Newly opened in 2020, More Of The Good Stuff is an on-site courtyard café serving coffee, lunch, cakes, and more. Set in the grounds, with both indoor and outdoor seating, it’s the perfect spot to take a break or have a casual meeting.
The future of Worting House
The new era of Worting House isn’t the end of development. We’ve got exciting plans for what comes next, and we’re aiming high.
Our vision for the future of Worting House and the surrounding parkland includes building new homes, a nursery, a gym, with walking and jogging trails, a trim track, and more. We want to create a space that suits your lifestyle, makes coming to work more fun, and boosts your productivity. But the changes we’ve got planned for the estate will never come in the way of what makes Worting House so special in the first place – centuries of history and continuous innovation.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the new and improved Worting House in 2021, and hope you enjoy everything we’ve got in store for the future.
