What is a serviced office?

Effectively a hotel for businesses. We can provide you with desks for any number of people. Licences are issued and renewable on an annual basis. Some of our clients have stayed for many years. You can walk in, sit down and start working in a matter of minutes, with no hassle on office space management or any admin.

How quickly can we move in?

Just about as quickly as you can choose your telephone number from the ones that we have available. It takes us very little time to set things up once we have received your deposit, first month’s licence fee and signed licence. Bank references will need to be taken up and passport identification is required.

What is the minimum term length of a licence agreement?

We do not have a minimum term. The Licence Agreement is 364 days, however clients are only required to give one month’s notice to vacate.

What is included within the Licence Agreement?

The following is included:

  • Full time on-site Manager
  • Heating and lighting
  • Furniture and carpets
  • Cleaning services
  • Reception services
  • Security and 24 hour access
  • Free car parking

What are the extras over and above the rental?

Essentially just your ‘consumables’ such as an exclusive telephone number, telephone handsets, telephone calls made, internet access, photocopying, outgoing mail and any meeting rooms used. You will receive a fully itemised bill each month so that you can track your expenses.

Can I bring my own furniture?

Our offices are all fully furnished, however this is possible with agreement from the Estate Manager.

We would like a dedicated phone line

Yes, we can provide a dedicated phone line and Reception will answer your calls in your company name and handle them as per your requirements. There is a monthly charge for the phone line and for each telephone extension in your office.

Internet

We provide internet access on either a dedicated leased line or shared access service. There are no set-up fees and all equipment is maintained by ourselves at no cost to you.

If we take on new staff, is there flexibility to move offices?

Yes of course depending on what office space we have available at the time. You would not need to give a month’s notice.

What are the deposit terms – how much rent is required in advance?

We ask for one month’s licence fee (rent) as a deposit and the first month’s licence fee. Thereafter the licence fee is paid on the first of the month, usually by standing order – we have standing order mandates available. The deposit is fully refundable at the end of the term, providing the room is left in good condition.

What kind of security is there?

Worting House and the Coach House have access alarms and CCTV security cameras around the buildings and car park. You will be given access codes, security keys and office keys.

Can I come in at weekends?

Yes, you will have access to the building you are in 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will be issued with keys to your office, alarm codes and security keys (where applicable).

Do I need to obtain insurance for my office contents?

Yes – we cover the insurance for the buildings, but the contents are your responsibility.

Do you have meeting/training facilities?

Yes, we have 4 rooms varying in size to suit anything from a 2 person meeting or interview, to a training day for up to 26 people. Free Wifi is available and complimentary beverages are included. Buffet lunches can be provided at an extra cost.

We also have a Drop-In Zone if you need some extra desk space, and a Quiet Zone to get away from the hustle and bustle.
